The design brief from the architect and client was that they wanted to have the signage follow the same look of the building which has many sharp finishes to the roofs and buildings in general. 

 

The package included many different signs and materials for the project. The wayfinding signs were vinyl supergraphics and they were made up of creative designs using sharp shapes for the arrows showing directions with text overlaid. Various colours were used to match some of the walls and furniture around the school. 

 

Austin Reynolds also supplied acrylic signs for the room names throughout the school. The acrylic door signs were also created to follow the shape of the building and were again colour coded to match the block the signs were located in. 

 

The external sign on the front of the building consisted of the school name with the logo and was fixed using a rail system which allowed the sign to stand off the wall. The rails were powder coated to match the wall to hide rail which made the logo and text stand out more and gave the signs a floating effect. 

 

The large school building name sign was powder coated aluminium letters. We also supplied some signage for the car park. 

 

Before the school was opened we were asked to supply a plaque which would be unveiled on the school opening day. This was a stainless-steel plaque with etched and infilled graphics.
