Brief

Austin Reynolds were commissioned to deliver a comprehensive signage package for the prestigious 100 Liverpool Street development. The scope included front and back of house signage, external signage, safety and fire signage, and painted floor graphics for the car park. The goal was to create high-quality, flexible, and visually impactful signs that matched the buildings premium design and functionality needs.

Solution

The project was delivered in two main segments: front of house and back of house signage. We also produced bepoke illuminated signage for this project.
Front of House Signage
Patinated brass letters with powder-coated underlines were used for wayfinding signs and main directories. These premium materials provided a sophisticated, unique finish. The directories were designed to be modular, allowing for easy updates as the tenant names change.
External Signage
Two large sets of halo-illuminated "100" numerals were installed on a curved exterior wall. This feature served as a striking visual identifier for the building.
Back of House Signage
These signs were fabricated from powder-coated aluminium, offering a more practical yet durable finish suitable for service areas.

Additional Signage Elements
Additional signage was delivered using a range of durable materials, including acrylic fire signs, rigid plastic safety signs, brushed stainless steel WC and stair signage, and painted floor graphics applied throughout the large car park area.

Outcome

The completed signage package met the client’s expectations both functionally and aesthetically. The modular design of the directories made future tenant updates simple and cost-effective.

The use of premium materials like patinated brass and stainless steel ensured a polished finish throughout. The halo-illuminated external numerals became a signature design feature, enhancing the building’s curb appeal.

Overall, the client was extremely satisfied with the outcome, citing both the visual impact and practical execution of the signage scheme. This is a project the team are proud to have been a part of and completed to the highest standards.
