Brief
The aim of the project was to provide clear, consistent, and aesthetically pleasing signage across the development, which spans across multiple blocks. The signage needed to support effective wayfinding for residents and visitors while reinforcing the identity and premium look of the site. The package included internal and external signage components, each tailored to the space and purpose.
Solution
The project at One Maidenhead was delivered across four blocks and included a mix of materials and sign types, all fabricated and installed to a high standard:
Acrylic Wayfinding Signage
We supplied and installed acrylic wayfinding signs throughout all four blocks of the development. These signs were clean, modern, and strategically placed to ensure intuitive navigation across multiple levels and shared spaces.
Reception Signage
In the reception area, we installed halo-illuminated letters, creating a welcoming and eye catching first impression. The soft backlighting added a sense of depth and quality, enhancing the prestige of the main entrance.
Building Identification Letters
Above the letterboxes in each block, we installed flat cut acrylic letters identifying the specific building. These were designed to be subtle yet clear, helping residents and guests orient themselves easily within the multi-block site.
External Totem Sign
To guide visitors across the external areas, we supplied a freestanding totem sign. This directional sign was positioned to help people quickly locate the correct block or entrance point, serving as a practical wayfinding tool while maintaining the site architectural aesthetic.
Information Lecterns
Within the landscaped garden area, we installed a set of lectern-style signs providing information about Halcyon Gardens. These signs offer a thoughtful touch, helping to educate and engage visitors with the green space and its design purpose. The lecterns were fabricated with durability in mind, suitable for long-term outdoor use.
Outcome
The completed signage scheme at One Maidenhead successfully combines clarity, brand consistency, and visual quality. From the halo-illuminated reception signage to the informative garden lecterns, each element was carefully designed and installed to reflect the development’s high standards.
The client was extremely pleased with the results, noting the clean aesthetics, practicality of the wayfinding system, and the professional finish of each sign. Austin Reynolds once again delivered a complete signage package that adds long-term value to the development, both in form and function.
